This Privacy Policy describes how GoalDaddy Breaks LLC (“GoalDaddy Breaks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information in connection with goaldaddybreaks.com (the “Site”), our email and SMS marketing programs, and related customer support. This Policy applies only to the Site and services we control and not to third-party platforms (e.g., Whatnot, Instagram) that have their own policies.
1) Information We Collect
- Identifiers & Contact Data: name, email address, phone number (for SMS), shipping/billing addresses you provide to us.
- Commercial Information: transaction history on our Site (if applicable), Whatnot username and break results, cards assigned to your portal, comps, buyback submissions, shipping decisions, PayPal payout destination and status, preferences, and consent records.
- Internet/Device Data: IP address, device identifiers, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications: messages you send us (email/DM), responses to promotions, and support inquiries.
- Inferences: interests or preferences we derive from your interactions.
2) How We Use Information
- Provide, improve, and secure the Site and our services.
- Operate our email and SMS programs (e.g., drop alerts, series updates, promotions), including consent and unsubscribe management.
- Process buybacks, customer support, and legitimate business operations (e.g., analytics, fraud prevention).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3) Cookies & Analytics
We and our service providers use cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and measure performance. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser; disabling cookies may impact functionality.
4) Disclosing Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service Providers/Processors (e.g., email/SMS platforms such as Klaviyo, hosting, analytics, payment or fulfillment partners) for business purposes under contracts that limit their use.
- Business Transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, asset sale).
- Legal/Compliance (e.g., to protect rights, safety, or comply with law/enforce policies).
We do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law only to the extent cookies/ads tools are configured that way. See “Your Privacy Rights” to opt out.
Mobile information and SMS consent: We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or text consent with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging service providers may process this information only to deliver GoalDaddy Breaks messages for us.
5) Your Privacy Rights (California)
If you are a California resident, you may have the following under the CCPA/CPRA:
- Right to Know/Access categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete personal information, subject to exceptions.
- Right to Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of “Sale/Sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (if applicable).
- Non-Discrimination for exercising your rights.
How to submit a request: Email privacy@goaldaddybreaks.com with your name, the request type, and a way to verify your identity. You may authorize an agent with written permission and identity verification. To opt out of cookie-based “sharing,” adjust cookie preferences and use browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals if supported—our intent is to honor GPC where reasonably detectable.
6) Email & SMS Marketing (TCPA/CTIA)
- Promotional email and text choices are separate and optional. By selecting the relevant unchecked consent box, you agree to receive that type of marketing from GoalDaddy Breaks LLC. Consent is not required to create a portal account, purchase a break, or use buyback.
- SMS: Promotional texts may announce live shows, new breaks, and offers. Message frequency varies with our show schedule, up to 30 promotional texts per month. Account or buyback alerts, if separately enabled, depend on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- You can unsubscribe from emails via the link in any email. You can opt out of SMS at any time by texting STOP.
- We maintain consent logs and may receive delivery/engagement metadata from our SMS/email service provider(s).
7) Data Security & Retention
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No method is 100% secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
8) Children
Our Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.
9) International Users
Our operations and service providers are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand information may be processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
10) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
